The group " Equal but Different" was set up to provide mutual care and support for gay people who have suffered from more and more frequent episodes of intolerance. Born from the determination of a group of people at the University of Trieste to actively encourage a greater level of understanding, the group organizes conferences and initiatives trying to involve as many more students as possible, in order to avoid the risk that episodes of homophobia will be repeated. To change the thought processes and prejudices of people is not easy but with effort and determination we try day after day to modify the way of thinking about people, with a great dream: the complete integration of the LGBT population into society.
